"There will be a point in our time, where profit streaming services overtake by non-profit streaming services designed to benefit artists and listeners."
Research
Before starting on my project, I did some research to gain some precedents and inspiration for my potential artefacts.
Since the global pandemic, there have been creative ways for artists to perform music to the audience without stepping outside the home. There was a rise in live online concerts and even an augmented reality app. Donald Glover has created an app called the Pharos AR experiment. It's an augmented reality concert experience through an application on Android or IOS where you can see Gover's exclusive and unreleased music but also exclusively interact with the artist himself. I find this revolutionary and a starting point of change in the music industry.
Sources from Consequence of Sound predicted a likelihood of AI replacing human artists and taking over the music industry. Although allowing power onto AIs can be threatening to the future of music, but it opens up to the new opportunities and exploring and entering an entirely new creative territory of music. That's why I chose to add an uncanny figure and dark themes onto my poster to add a sense of fear of the unknown. However, we should open up to new ideas and possibilities than stay in the past.

Concept & Ideation
With the pieces of information, I came up with three different artefacts:

A poster that promotes futuristic music concert.
An app that is similar to Donald Glover's pharos AR experience.
A hologram concert experience.
I chose to work on the poster as I feel like I can best narrate my vision of the future of music and how music will be promoted.
Before I started doing rough prototyping some rough ideas, I decided to go on Pinterest and choose a theme to case my poster on. Because themes are endless, I decided to select poster designs that look futuristic. After browsing on Pinterest, I then categorized them into four different groups: neon, mono, retro and tech.
Neon is a classic them in today's famous world because of the bright and punchy colours.
Monochrome is equally as popular and growing compared to neon. I specifically when the accent or salience of colour is used in monochrome as it is just as punchy and eye-grabbing like neon.
Retro is what I think is currently up and rising.
Tech is an old-schooled definition of what design is and in my opinion, overused. However, I will keep it in my moldboard in case I need inspiration.
With inspiration, I started drawing up some rough prototypes on my software (Clip Studio Paint). The monochrome concept caught my attention (because of my bias for minimal colour palettes). I then developed a storyboard of how I envision my animation.
With the time limit I had, I decided to minimize my storyboard, so it's much shorter. Rather than a long narrative, I decided to make mine short but have an impact and draw attention to the audience.
Development & Fabrication Process
During my process, I had dealt with difficulties as the software I was using to create my animation had a frame restriction. Instead of making the whole animation, I resolved it by separating and creating smaller scenes and the use of iMovie to combine the videos. So instead of a gif, I decided to create a video and make a 20-second loop of the animation.
When I took this route, there were advantages that I had. I was able to layer effect like the glitches.

This is my final artefact:
